My father was a resident of your facility for approximately 4 years. He passed away last Friday and I want to say a few words to you about your organization. Any facility which deals with people is presented with all kinds of problems. I’m sure that there have been individuals who have complained endlessly. I would like to say that it has been a pleasure visiting my father twice a week for the last few years.
Your organization depends on the staff to do its work successfully. I would like to say that everyone in Rego Park has been very helpful. From the front office to the recreation staff, to the food workers (who can puree anything), to the aides and nursing staff, each has been wonderful.
I cannot end this letter without speaking about the staff on the 3rd floor, and my father’s aide-Patricia. The aides and muses do an unbelievable job, sometimes under duress. They should be recommended. In addition, my father reached the age of 97 because of Patricia. Her concern for my fathers’ well being has earned my special thanks.
